Artie Bennett . . . who?!? (continued...)

He enjoys watching great films in the buff— I mean, he's a great film buff! As a lad, young Artie Bennett could sit transfixed through a triple horror feature at the local bijou, with nary a thought of tossing a Jujube or Milk Dud at the screen. Though his sitzfleisch has diminished dramatically since then, his enthusiasm for the flicks has only grown. His all-time favorite films are Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, and Attack of the 50-Foot Woman.

He's a sucker for the great outdoors and enjoys nature travel, never having subscribed to Woody Allen's dictum: "I am two with nature." He botanizes and bird-watches and claims to have seen a prothonotary warbler, whose name pleases him as much as its aspect does. And he loves canoeing and kayaking, and would umiak as well if he knew how.

Artie Bennett is a dancing fool and is apt to break into Cajun dancing, contra dancing, swing dancing, or foxtrotting at the drop of an arpeggio. Dance, Artie Bennett, dance!

He and his wife, Leah, live deep in the bowels of Brooklyn, New York, where he spends his time hunting for a parking space (to satisfy the unremitting demands of alternate-side-of-the-street parking) and plotting revenge against his neighbors.
