   • One can experience acne on the buttocks. It's known as rash acne buttocks, or RAB.

   • Plastic surgeons will perform buttock augmentation using butt implants, which are available in many sizes and styles. And they can be customized to the individual.

   • The word "callipygian" means "having a shapely buttocks." There is a Chicago-based ensemble of period-instrument musicians and singers called the Callipygian Players.

   • Traditional Japanese underwear for men, known as fundoshi, exposes the buttocks. Sumo wrestlers wear fundoshi.

   • The word "scuttlebutt" has an interesting origin. "Butt" here is a nautical word for a barrel or cask, in this case filled with water. To "scuttle a butt" is to drill a hole in it so that the water can be drawn. "Scuttlebutt," which means "rumor or gossip," would be trafficked in by sailors as they drew water from the cask.
